We began as a small construction company over 30 years ago. Over the years we have grown our business and expanded our footprint to serve clients across the country — from initial sitework and development to the finishing touches, our team of project managers manages every project from the ground up.
We specialize in commercial new construction and commercial upfits for both interior and exterior projects, as well as residential new construction. Based in Atlanta, we serve the entire southeast United States and more — affordable office building construction, condo construction, hotel construction, and healthcare facility construction.

The Family Behind The Calendar
Same Owners. Same Crews. One Name.
Sam Pack founded the company in 1990 — originally as LMC Inc., rebranded to King Construction in 2004. Thirty-six years later it is still family-owned and operated, and Sam remains actively involved in the business.
His sons, Luke Pack and Austin Pack, joined as project managers in 2007. The people who answer the phone are the people who run the job — which is the whole point of a single-source GC: one team owns the schedule, the documentation, and the outcome, foundation to finishing touches.

Founded by Sam Pack
Sam Pack founded the company in 1990 — originally as LMC Inc. The same single-source principle has held ever since: one GC owns the whole job, start to finish.
2004
Rebranded to King Construction
LMC Inc. became King Construction in 2004 — same family ownership, same crews, same accountability under a new name.
2005
First national-brand interior upfits
King delivered its first national-brand interior upfits in grocery and retail — the start of a multi-state upfit practice that continues today.
2007
Next generation joins as PMs
Sam Pack's sons, Luke Pack and Austin Pack, joined as project managers in 2007 — the same family that owns the company runs the projects in the field.
2018
Steady resort & condo work
King began steady resort and condo work across the Southeast in 2018 — a category the company still builds in year over year.
